    Trucking Ghosts!

Well, a hitchhiker in this case. I guess that’s better if you have the option to not stop and pick them up.

Let’s take a step back for just a moment.

I asked readers to reach out on LinkedIn or Twitter or Instagram or, or, with stories.

Let’s start there before we get into the ghost story.

    First submission:

A urine test subject warmed his uh, specimen, in the lunch room microwave. While not exactly sanitary, or cool in my opinion, it is not exactly what I was looking for in my request.

The great part of the story is that the person bought the sample off the streets around the terminal in a not-so-safe part of Chi-town. And expected it to be clean.

The results were far worse than whatever the driver was covering up.

    Ghost rider:

Anthony Thrower, a news reporter at Mirror.co.uk, reports that a truck driver cruising through the province of Cordoba in Argentina accidentally picked up a ghost hitchhiker.

What a dumb-ass – everyone knows Cordoba is covered up with ghosts.

As the driver passes this female hitchhiker on the side of the road, she appears to DISAPPEAR.

A trucker behind him calls out on the radio warning him that this woman has reappeared. This time attached to the back of his trailer.

Moments later the woman disappears again!

In true Scooby Doo fashion, the trucker and his buddy hammer down and get 100 kilometers of yonder behind them before they take another breath.

    Now that’s trucking strange!

34 years in this industry. I've learned a few things. There is always a way to screw up a shipment, always. Vacations are just remote work. Never pass up a bathroom. Conferences are marathons, not sprints. Your word and integrity are your greatest assets. Oh, and not everyone likes the Circle Jerks. Peace and Love.
