This week, the BTU Podcast welcomes social media icon Paul-Bernard Jaroslawski of Freight Caviar, fresh off a trip to Armenia. PBJ, as we call him, is a former freight broker from Poland who decided to begin making memes.
Paul rose in popularity and soon launched his website FreightCaviar.com, linking the worlds of truckers, brokers, and C-suite executives. All of us here at BackTheTruckUp are proud to have PBJ as a guest writer.
Paul gave us an update on his expose on the double broker lifestyle in Armenia. Armenia is the self-proclaimed “double brokering capital of the world,” according to reports.
Young men and women do not have many employment options in Armenia; the country is still recovering from the battles fought in the 1990s with Azerbaijan. Double brokering is a way to make good money – although it is a very scummy way to do it.
Paul gives us the scoop on how he formed Freight Caviar in 2020. Paul was a pallet broker at the time and wanted a better brand name than “Pallet Broker.” So a brainstorming session with some friends gave birth to the icon we know today.
