“Major flooding will continue or develop in areas of the Red River Valley over the next few days. This includes eastern North Dakota and western Minnesota. Truckers may hit ramp or road closures along the I-29 corridor.”

Just a reminder about the spring snow melt; if it’s over 32 degrees, IT WILL MELT!!! So with the thaw happening up north in Canada and rivers flowing southward, floods are bound to happen. There are already flood emergencies happening throughout the Dakotas and Minnesota. Have a look at the SONAR Critical Reports – Flood Warnings/Watches for today.

Already there are videos of land erosion and rapids forming as rivers overflow their banks. Remember the rules about water, if you can’t see the bottom, it’s too deep. And yes, there are many videos of trucks pushing water out of the way to get through. But that one time you decide to try it might not work out.
Also, there’s the cost of repacking wheel bearings, possible electrical shortages, and the weight of the water breaking the body panels. DON’T, JUST DON’T!!! It’s not worth the risk. Plus it might be illegal if you’re caught. TURN AROUND AND DON”T DROWN!!!
