On this week’s Back The Truck Up Podcast, Rooster and Justin welcome Angela and Scott Griffin from Simple Livin on YouTube and Instagram to help drivers get the proper cooking setup in their rigs. The Griffins are FedEx Ground contractors and have been uploading content about their life out on the road since December 2017.

Living out on the road is not an easy task. Trucks do not have nearly enough storage space inside and options to cook a hot meal are limited if you do not know how to set up what you need.

The guys talk with Angela about why they started their channel, how they handle driving 5,000 miles per week while still creating time off at home, and what they love to cook and eat while they’re on the road. Angela talks about how they added a hot water system to their new 2023 Volvo truck and what she cannot live without on the open road.

Listen to this week’s episode to hear what appliances and utensils the Griffins carry in their truck, how they did some modifications to the bed for a better sleeping experience, and what foods they shop for while dealing with allergies. Anyone out on the road or thinking of becoming a trucker should listen in for some great tips on how to improve their life out on the road.

Listen to the podcast on Apple Podcast, Spotify, Stitcher, Simplecast, and Google Podcasts!
