Warning: we are going to talk about some very obscene topics and images, LEAVE NOW if you are sensitive to very cruel and disturbing topics.
When I said I could not get any madder today, especially in regard to the killing in Merced, California, I lied. This sick waste of space has sent me to a whole new level of anger.
Get your in-flight chow bags ready, you might lose your lunch
Meet Lucas Russel VanWoert, 25, of Kent County, Michigan is in jail, held by the Mercer County, Ohio Sheriff’s Office under a federal warrant. He is charged with four counts of “Creation of Animal Crush Video” and four counts of “Distribution of Animal Crush Video.”
If that wasn’t enough to turn your stomach, let me add this from the court documents:
“these so-called ‘animal crush’ videos depict a dog being “sexually assaulted, impaled, and otherwise subjected to serious bodily injury and resulted in killing the dog.”U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Michigan
It took the Aussies getting involved to get this animal off the road
Thank the next Aussie you see, because if it was not for action on their part, this guy would still be on the streets. VanWoert was sending the videos to McMinns Lagoon, an individual living in the Northern Territory of Australia.
According to the indictment, the investigation started in Australia on April 22 of this year. Lagoon is a 51-year-old man who was arrested for bestiality, animal cruelty, and child exploitation.
During the search of his devices and home, Australian law enforcement officials said they found two accounts for an online platform where the man was known as a “high-level” producer of animal cruelty videos.
God help the writers at Fox 2 in Detroit who had to write the section I’m about to quote directly from their site:
“Authorities said the two men exchanged over 700 files, all showing animal abuse. Many of these files were recorded by ‘Graves’ in the sleeper section of a tractor-trailer and showed a white man with a beard, a distinctive tattoo on his bicep, and a dog laying next to him. This dog had its mouth tied shut.
“According to the indictment, this dog was sexually abused and tortured in obscene and graphic ways.”
“Authorities released details of multiple files they recovered but they are way too graphic to publish. They show the dog being sexually assaulted with a knife, tortured in unimaginable ways, and the removal of organs. In two of the videos, the dog’s breathing could still be heard, meaning it was alive while it was subjected to the horrors.”
“In one video, the dog appeared to have been dead when authorities said VanWoert cut out its tongue and held it up in front of the camera. All of the videos were recorded in the western district of Michigan; VanWoert was living in Grand Rapids in November 2020 but moved to Ohio earlier this year.”
“Authorities say he committed the acts and distributed the content while still living in Michigan. On September 27, a search warrant was executed at his Ohio home where authorities said they found another video that depicted animal crushing.”
“That day, he was questioned and admitted to engaging in sex acts, beating, and strangling a dog at his previous employer in Grand Rapids. He also said he put the dog in a dumpster but was unable to give an exact date.” – Fox 2 Detroit
This is not the behavior of a truck driver, it is the behavior of an animal and thankfully he is in a cage now. VanWoert is facing 12 years in prison, and hopefully more from the Australian Federal Police.
