Living life on the road can be hard alone and so drivers often work to bring their loved ones with them, either as a co-driver or just someone to talk to. The Back The Truck Up Podcast welcomes Angie and Larry Baum of Married 2 The Road who are team drivers who both drive over the road and perform community service in the form of a driver resource organization.
They are N.A.D.R.A. driver advocates who work together with others to better inform drivers and government agencies about certain issues, such as the speed limit mandate, removing overtime pay exemptions, and the installation of surveillance devices in truck cabs. Angie and Larry also are a part of Treat-A-Trucker, a group that helps make sure drivers in hard times have a meal to eat.
